GUIDELINES FOR PRINTED POSTERS
Guidelines for printed posters
You will be informed by March 31, 2026 at the latest if your poster submission has been accepted. For accepted posters, here are the guidelines.
Printing your poster and transporting it to the conference is the responsibility of the presenter(s). If you do not attend the conference, you must make arrangements with someone who will be there to have your poster available the day before the conference begins.
- Posters should follow the APA guidelines:
4 ft × 8 ft board size recommendation from APA. Posters can be smaller, but not larger than this size
Printed Poster: A complete poster must include:
Name of presenter(s):
Provide name and affiliation for all authors. Please include location of individual (city, state, country).
For the first author (or author who is designated as main contact person), please provide contact information (email address, telephone number).
Title:
- Use title case for the title (e.g., Clinical Applications of Behavior Analysis: A Two-Part Study), not all lowercase or all capital letters.
- Titles should be limited to 15 words (200 characters). Please spell out all acronyms.
- No ending punctuation or quotation marks around the title are necessary.
Topic Area:
Each poster submission must indicate the most appropriate topic area. A secondary area can be selected, if appropriate.
- Evaluation of the theoretical model and developmental perspectives
- CBPT evaluation and intervention protocols
- Clinical settings/applications
- Research/CBPI
- Supervision of CBPT
- Diversity and culture
Abstract:
The abstract must follow American Psychological Association style guidelines and be no fewer than 150 words and no more than 200 words. Abstracts should begin with a sentence stating why the topic is important and end with the general conclusion, relevance, or potential impact. All acronyms must be spelled out at first mention.
Any charts or other visual materials should be clearly presented and visible to someone standing a few feet away.
Attachments: Basic or applied research submissions should include data attachments. Submissions in clinical, service delivery or theoretical domains may include data attachments as appropriate.
