
Reached a specialization in the practical applications of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to effectively treat anxiety symptoms, especially for complex cases. Dr. Dasari’s professional background led her to develop a solid foundation of evidence-based cognitive-behavioral treatments. For more than 10 years, she worked as an assistant professor at NYU School of Medicine and Bellevue Hospital Center. She supervised psychiatry residents in the Department of Psychiatry. She also served as a psychologist in the Department of Pediatrics, and collaborated on the research projects in several departments. Prior to this position, Dr. Dasari began her career in New York City with a postdoctoral fellowship at the NYU Child Study Center. She received her PhD in clinical psychology from Case Western Reserve University, where she received supplemental training in pediatric psychology. Dr. Dasari has published numerous articles, presented at national conferences, and participated in interviews on current topics related to child mental health. Currently, she is the clinical director of a thriving group practice Dasari & Associates, PLLC in Manhattan and holds an adjunct assistant professor position at Case Western Reserve University.
