The first International Conference of Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy encourages the submission of abstracts and research related to the topics of the congress.

In particular, we are interested in  research (including theses and dissertations) on:

Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy

The role of CBPT in different clinical populations, and evidence-based and ethical applications of  CBT

Play Therapy

Play Therapy interventions with children that are relevant to CBPT

CBT with children

Contemporary CBT treatment and training in children. That may involve older kids where play is useful, but less critical to the approach. 

Cognitive Behavioral Play Interventions (CBPI)

Research using CBPI in non-clinical settings, particularly empicially-based studies.
